Your safety is important. Due to a rash of cyberbullying, since the popularization of web-boards and membership forums, etc. there has been an unprecedented increase in teen and young adult deaths, and it is important to report any online harassment immediately to local law enforcement authorities (and board moderators).
If you are or become depressed, please seek help and call 911!
If you are the object of online harassment, it's very important that you avoid engaging the perpetrator of the unwanted behavior. Do NOT respond to any aggressive behavior or texts, instead report it to the board moderator/owner and for your safety delete that account and open a new one under a different name. Never provide your personal information online and don't engage in dangerous or threatening behavior.
If you have been the perpetrator of online aggression, bullying or harassment (using mean, derogatory or inflammatory language towards others, etc.), please stop, it's only the internet. And remember that although unintended, negative actions may cause irreparable emotional harm to others.
